Tilt-turn & hopper windows

TILT-TURN Windows

Tilt-turn windows have dual functionality: They can be opened like a casement window, and tilt in at the top. The mechanics for both actions are contained within the frame and easily regulated by a lever.

When opened like a casement window, tilt-turn windows allow maximum passage of air into a room. When opened from the top, they prevent small children from climbing up and falling through (as they can from double-hung windows).

Tilt-turn windows work well in residential and commercial utilizations. Covered exterior spaces in private homes such as sunrooms or pool enclosures are the best places where the dual functionality of tilt-turn windows can be most beneficial.

HOPPER Windows

This type of window is installed mostly in basements and bathrooms. The excellent ventilation they provide helps prevent enclosed spaces from becoming dull or wet.

Hopper windows open inward from the top and are hinged on the bottom. They require minimal hardware not only in installation but also in operation. The same handle that locks and unlocks the window with a single turn is also used to open it with a simple pull.

Hopper windows are almost effortless to clean from the inside since the screen is installed on the outside. Because they open inward, added security features such as grates are easy to install on the exterior of the windows.
